You can choose to be patient with them..or you can fire them and demand part of your money be returned to you..I've had those moments with my attorney and I go hard on them. My senator and infopass has done me more service than my attorney. I am the one who updates my attorney on developments on my case..LOL the irony!💁 frankly this community is all the attorney you need. I'll say be patient with them but put your foot down! Make this place your greatest resource! 👍

i can relay so much to what you are saying, and me to my infopass and my senator helped me so much and yeah same as updating on my case and yes depending on what happens tomorrow i will send  them a email and i wiaskskm them to do what i paid them to do sorry if it sounds mean. And once again i will say it i wish i knew about this forum and about sandranj before i hired my lawyer

I have my police report in USA and from my home country ready to be sent in response to the RFE.

Can I send it myself without my attorney and Do I need to send the original copies?

I believe original copies are required for those particular documents. I think together with the form g28 from your attorney..you are able to submit by yourself.

Hi everyone, I'm new in here. I applied for i360 in November 2017 and still waiting.  It's been already 28 months.  Is anyone on the same boat ? Or can I do anything to speed up the process?

You can schedule an infopass or/and contact your representative to enquire on your behalf.👍

Thank you Villanelle for your response, but could you please tell me what would be the consequence of having completed Form I-864W incorrectly? since I selected the option (1.c.):

"I am applying for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status as a self-applying widower using Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow (er), or Special Immigrant.

Thank you!!

They will most likely see the error and at some point ask you for a corrected 864w. They can rfe you for this or you may get one of those interview courtesy letters advising you to bring 864w to interview. It shouldn't cause a denial of the 485. Sometimes they catch small errors and fix them for you but they are under no obligation to do so. If nothing is said about the error before the interview make sure you bring a properly filled out 864w to your interview (even if not asked) and mention to the officer in the interview that you think you filled it out wrong and brought a correct one.

I answered this question yesterday, please check the previous pages.

@sandranj I've looked closely. I think you answered my first question about processing times but not one about H1B. looked thru the pages - not sure what i'm missing here. sorry!

For reference, here's the question: Can H1b holder take on another job with C09 EAD but still maintain H1b status with primary job?

It just means what it says..they got the response to the RFE! Which is the birth certificate. Nothing to be weary about. She's good!👍

Thats not an issue with USCIS but you do need to handle it. Most hospitals have what they call "charity care" programs where they can reduce or eliminate bills based on your financial situation. They are also often able to help you get medicaid (backdated to cover the bills) or as a last resort set you up with a payment plan. The best thing you can do is reach out to the billing dept at the hospital and explain you need help. It can be hard and stressful to deal with them but overall its better to deal with it asap then to ignore it.

hi thanks for your response.

Actually I went to hospital but they told me that my bill was sent to deb collector agency. I'm gonna have to pay no matter what. My question is are you really sure that uscis doesnt have access to see this kind of bills. I filed wawa 1 month ago. I'm felling horrible for this debt which is 600 dolar.

and please sandra I need your wisdom on this issue please respond too. @sandranj

from my knowledge USCIS does not have anything to do with applicants hospital visits . Since the debt is already with the debt collector, it's very easy, contact them and ask them to place you on a payment plan which could be as low as $20 per month
