Hi, I have the same situation. When USCIS sends the c31 EAD first, does it always come without AP? Or did they forget to add it to mine?

I’m asking because my current c09 EAD (which is still valid until May) is a combo (EAD+AP). But my c31 EAD came as only EAD, no AP included. And I need the AP because my dad is sick 😕

The C31 never comes as a combo card. Vermont will only send you the C31 upon approval of your petition.👍

Hi everyone,

i have one question, Applied fot VAWA and already received prima facie.

Can I apply for working permit/ead or I have to have I360 approved to apply for an EAD? Thank you

If you're married to a USC and you have a pending i485, you can apply for C9 EAD. If not, you'll have to wait for VAWA approval to get C31 EAD!👍

Your green card approval is needed to file for your daughter.  It’s I-824.

I sometimes read the answers and even more in a misunderstanding. Tell me, please, do I need some additional documents for my son? , he is included in the petition 360 and lives with me.

Thank you.

Hello Visa Journey

For all LPR Spouse, that filed I-360 only or is planing to file I-360 you can also sent your I-485 / I-765( C09) / I-131 LPR Spouse visa in current this month and also the upcoming month of February 2020 on the Visa bulletin Chart  https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html and is been current for several months already, please take advantage of this and sent your I-485... Lawyers sometimes don't check but please try to sent it...

Was your son abused as well? If you included this info in your petition then he may be approved as well. If he wasn't abused, I believe you can file for him when you have your Greencard.👍

Yes, he experienced violence even more than I did. And in the letter and the evidence of the people, this is indicated.

Thank you. So I believe I will have to wait.

I was married to USC and my case was cancelled after my spouse threatened deport me, kicked me out of our place and returned all my immigration letters without me knowing.

I have an EAD valid until March, but my case is not pending anymore, it was cancelled.

how they expect us to survive here without working I don’t  understand.

thank you again and good luck to everyone

If you're married to a USC..you can still file a fresh i485 based on a pending i360. So the C9 EAD may still be a possibility.👍

Hi everyone  I have a question

My friend had vawa case and she got green card 2017.
After , 2018 she married another country, her husband’s has tourists visa B1B2 category. They arrived in USA together after married and they live in NY. They sent all documents and paid 1225$ . He has his receipt number. He got fingerprint in September. Her question is
will they have interview? Because she is a green card holder she is not citizen yet, she also sent papers for citizen and she got fingerprint in November and it’s processing.

Any advice is important 🙏sorry for my English, I work hard for that 🥰

USCIS conducts interview for every petition no matter if spouse is USC or GC holder.

Someone explained to me that when your VAWA is approved they send you the C31 EAD only (Without travel permit). You can only apply for the travel permit when your Adjustment of Status (I-485) starts processing. I'm waiting to receive the VAWA Approval Notice letter and I'll send the I-485 plus the I-131 - I'm almost two years without traveling and I miss my family :(

Why didn’t send all form together? My friends travel another country when their I360 and I485 was in processing
