Give it some more time..for the second question..it depends on what interview you mean..is it the greencard interview? They'll basically run you through the i485 questions and if they're feeling some type of way..might want a recap of the i360 (which they're NOT supposed to as it's been decided by Vermont). Otherwise it's pretty straightforward!👍

Yes, I mean i485 interview. do I have any Chance get green card without interview? Under i360 How is experience. I sent October my case I’m in NY how long does it take approval letter i360 and after i485 approval. Sorry for many question

It's ok..I'll tell you as much as I know. I've previously answered that of the i485. There's no interview for i360. If they're satisfied with your proofs, they'll approve you. I360 is processed in Vermont so it won't matter what your location is. As for i485 in N.Y. is another tale. You need to be patient. It takes quite some time here (I'm in N.Y. too😊)..like I always advice, take your mind off the long wait by concentrating on work and building yourself. Of course it's not easy but what else can we do?💁

I want a Greencard without interview as well..but no! There will be an interview. The days without interview is long gone. It's pretty straightforward so relax. Concentrate on VAWA approval for now.👍

Dear friends

I got a speeding ticket 2 days before which is 250 dollars you think I have to pay the same And if I pay it will be on my record and will create problem for me during the green card interview.

need some advices feeling pressure

you are good. just pay it. it won't go to your records. Even if it goes, its just a speeding violation

In the uscis webpage in my case the i485 says below that "We will assign your case to an officer.   We will review your case and mail you our decision. If we need more information, we will notify you. " So if I got my courtesy letter and the letter said they did an initial review. Does this means my case has already been assign with an officer? I called once and they said my case was on the nbc but then another person said its on vermont but my case was transferred since November 😳 it's all confusing.

The first transfer is to NBC, then the next is to local office. Same thing my case says..it's just the default template..doesn't have any helpful real time activity!💁 when you get the actual interview letter you know it's all over!

☹️ Wish we could know more. It sucks they don't let us do calls because of the privacy thing, they always tell me to write vermont 🙄

If you could know more..so can anybody else..especially persons who have no business knowing about it! It's basically to protect our information. Yes it's frustrating to us..but gives us privacy. If you wish to know the status of your case contact your representative or write to Vermont. I prefer the former!💁

If you can’t write to USCIS because of how tedious it is to write to them. You have the option of using your State representatives or congresspersons .

Hello everybody.

Today they passed the public charge law (DHS Obtains Another Judicial Victory on Implementing Public Charge Inadmissibility Rule).

Although I have been reading on the subject on the official USCIS website, it is not clear to me if this new law of inadmissibility due to public charge affects the petitioners of the green card through Vawa (I-360), I mean, I want to know if Vawa's petitioners are exempt from being considered public charge when applying for the green card (I-485).

I appreciate your opinion, including Sandra's opinion.

Thank you so much for your help!

I did my taxes last year and i put head of household, and i will do it this year as well since I am in the process of the divorce.... But an accountant can advise which is best for  you.

Thanks. I'm still married. My attorney actually told me to file head of household, but I needed to confirm here first. This is my first time and I don't know much about taxes.

I'll appreciate further explanation
