Do not fall for those manipulations. If you are already out of the abuse situation don't consider to go back.. Abuser change strategies, but the intention to continuing abusing you is still there, please value your self more and keep going on with your life, you have another change to do so. God bless.

My husband is a LPR and I filed I360 June 2018 they requested more evidence and I got two pf,I got and update on dec 12 2019 saying they order me a new card.I got my EAD with c31 on it valid a year,how soon after that will I get the approval letter for the I360 and when can I file my 485?

As soon, as you received your Approval notice you can file for I-485... Priority Date are current on the Visa bulletin for Spouse of an LPR (F2A Category)....

I have seen May thur July 2018 approval.... and some August 2018 have received RFE.

I file Vawa Oct 2017 and got approval and C31 June 28' 2019 and I485 Transferred June 28' 2019 to NBC it is now 7 months and no Interview...why is my case taking so long for interview. .I485 was file Dec 18' 2018..

Are you in N.Y.? If yes brace yourself..it's a long wait. My case was transferred in June too...still waiting for the letter..💁 you're not alone there..

Hi everyone!

I had my VAWA approved on Jan 16th, and receive my EAD Card on Jan 25th - I notice that they send me an employment authorization card only, and I also applied for the Advance Parole (I-131). What should I do? Should I send the I-131 form again asking them to update my current EAD card?

 

Also, they didn't send me any notice of approval of my VAWA. Can I apply for the Green Card without this notice? Should I send the I-485 Form to Vermont or the National Benefits Center?

I am in Ct, I have gotten the transfer Notice for NBC but nothing since for my local Office, the wait is so stressful. .Thank you @stillwinning

You're sounding like you didn't go through abuse..but a few difficulties in your marriage..and now wifey is back to charm her way back into your arms. Well if that is the case you filed a wrong petition! You can always mend fences..but if deep down in your heart you truly were abused, you should be running in the opposite direction, as you'll be sucked/trapped in a vicious cycle! The choice is yours!👍

You're welcome. I know how you feel. But I've braced myself for NYC wait..if not, one can go crazy! Just envelope yourself with work and self improvement. It will arrive when you're not looking! 👀😀

I485 should be sent to Vermont when you receive your approval letter which comes 30-90 days after receipt of C31 EAD. The EAD never comes as a combo card. It is a courtesy extended to petitioners to let them work while waiting to adjust status. You probably may be able to apply for AP seperately.👍

This is so true..I will try and throw myself into my work also try to take my mind off  this process...Praying also for all of us to get our interviews and approvals🙌💖
