I submitted a sublease bc were rented a room in someone 's appointment.  We have been doing a lot of moving.

It appears that your sole evidence was sublease, is this true? what did you submit to prove battery or extreme cruelty?

Besides personnel affidavit, what other affidavits you submitted to prove bona fide marriage? what hospital record and how detailed evaluation report submitted?

If you are still legally married then you must file your taxes as "married filing separately"if you are divorced you must file as  "single."

You started working 3 months ago, if you only have one W2 Form for 2019 it's a simple tax form so you can e-file using TurboTax for free.

Please is this the same as filing married head of household?

No, the Head of Household status is designed for single persons with dependents, but in some cases, married persons can claim the Head of Household filing status. To qualify for the Head of Household filing status while married, you must:

  • File your taxes separately from your spouse
  • Pay more than half of the household expenses
  • Not have lived with your spouse for the last 6 months of the year
  • Provide the principle home of a qualifying dependent
  • Claim an exemption for your dependent

If you meet all of these requirements, you may file as Head of Household while married.  But be careful because IRS can come back to you if you file head of household and don’t meet the requirements.

Hello guys. So today i received a very depressing rfe

Qualifying relationship

Shared residence

Good moral Character

Good faith marriage.

A lot of of things they want me to proof. Is ok if i write a new personal affidavit talking about my abuse, and explaining why i don't have joint stuff together. I am so depressed and confused bc they picking out a lot of things from my statements and saying they don't tide to my evidence.  Please  who can help me with a sample of how a personal affidavit should look like. Any advice wilk help. Thanks guys.

Hey been busy..I'm basically duplicating what I sent to your inbox. I was crushed myself when I looked at how complex my RFE was..you'll be fine!

I was sent almost the same RFE except qualifying relationship. Calm down you will be approved. Just write a fresh and detailed affidavit like I did. Explaining what you don't have and why. Make sure you address all they highlighted. Did you submit your marriage certificate and spouse birth certificate? That is proof of qualifying relationship. For shared residence any letter sent to both or either of you at same address. Utility bills, bank statements, insurance..or any other letter. Again if you don't have them...include in your affidavit why you don't have them. Good faith marriage...get friends and family to write affidavits confirming that your marriage is real and that they are aware of the courtship to when the union took place..they should mention wether they attended the wedding and if they have ever visited you guys...they should be detailed. Good moral character.. If you have been here for 3yrs before filing VAWA they get police clearance from your district. But if you were here less than 3yrs before filing, then get police clearance from your home country from the past 3yrs before your arrival to the USA. And also anywhere you have lived for 6months and more here in the USA. If you still dont get it..feel free to contact me again. I promise you'll be fine.👍

If this is a directive of USCIS then best do it. Pay if you have to..not so sure about that..but the focus is to move your case forward. Let's always remember that.👍

Hi, thanks but that is what I'm trying to figure out. I have no issue paying again, but it is unclear to me if I have to pay again to resend or if I just send new prints without new payment

I received my approval letter after 2 months. hang on its coming 🙂

Thank you Shroy123 for your answer, but could someone please tell me when I should start worrying? I mean, I want to know what is the waiting time range that is usually considered normal to receive the Vawa approval letter (I-360) after receiving the EAD (C31).
Thank you....

Will just leave this here for those who never read it.

This file was really helpful for me at some point, so if you have questions about document gathering for I360 this is the place you go:

It was initially posted by @Irynalucky so all kudos are for her :)

A wonderful document. Must read

Just got here, happy to see this supportive community !!

I-360, I-485 received Oct. 2019.

PF Nov. 2019. Waiting for C09 EAD and PD.

1. We all know long VSC processing times these day. Increased from 5-6 months in 2017. What will help reduce processing times? Is it linked to 2020 elections?

2. Can H1b holder take on another job with C09 EAD but still maintain H1b status with primary job?

Just received my interview courtesy letter today.!!!! 😁 May 2018 filler. November 2019 they transferred my case to another uscia office plus ead c31 approved same month. December 2019  they approved my case. San Antonio, TX local office. So far on the web it says 6 months waiting. I'm not sure how much waiting left I have though.
