Good Morning,

I"m on here to see if I can get some advice from people that may have been in similar situations.  I"m getting ready to file a I-129F and just wanted to see if anyone had any advice to give before submitting.  My fiance was born in Honduras but spent most her life in Mexico.  She does have her Mexico residency.   I guess what I'm looking for is any advice on package and what they will be actually looking for.  We have plenty of proof as far as actually meeting in person so that's not really a concern of mine.  I read that we will need to submit passport pictures that have been taken within the last 30 days.  So I'm guessing that she will need to mail me these pictures?  Any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

At the I129 stage (commonly called the petition stage), USCIS is looking for meeting the requirements of the I129 (evidence of meeting in the past two years, and submitting all the required evidence for the I129 including photos).  Some folks “front load” the I129 with relationship evidence, but honestly, you can do that when you reach the NVC stage prior to your fiancé’s interview.  I would also suggest reviewing the tips  and guide available on VJ.

Good Luck!

In reference to having the photos emailed to me and printing them at Walgreen's doesn't she need to print full name on the back of the picture?

you can write that yourself, its not a signature.

You need to have 2 letters. One from your point of view and one from hers. You each need to sign your letters. She can sign hers and scan an email it to you. It doesn't have to be a wet signature.

Thanks for your input.  Any other advice for us before we submit this package?

Looks like I have all this stuff ready to go.  I just really didn't want to miss anything and have it denied.  I'm hoping for a smooth process.

Missing one item or a few doesn't qualify for a denial. In almost all cases a RFE is sent for additional documents. So relax and submit your packet. Good luck.
