Maybe the Senate should subpoena Schiff’s phone records and those of his staff to see who they were talking to in July and August?

Its not like they subpoenaed Nunes records. They (presumably the sdny)  got the records on Guliani and Parnas as part of their investigation and Nunes is right there in the log. Nunes has no memory of talking to Parnas even though there were multiple calls with one lasting almost 10 minutes.

Why would the SDNY be sharing phone records with Adam Schiff?  The other thing is why is Schiff playing king (or maybe it is Prince, to Pelosi’s Queen) with American Citizens phone records including members of the media.

How exactly do they get Nunes' phone records or anything else without subpoena? 

 

This very thing is exactly what Snowden warned of.

 

I like Nunes, but there's a bit of irony here. Nearly all Republicans in Congress were supportive since 9/11 of insanely overreaching executive authority, which was clearly delegated to the USIC bureaus. Now, they seem to operate with utter impunity, behaving like a securocracy rather than a constitutional republic. You can really see this in communications with people across the bureaus, behaving as if they should be in charge of things they have no business meddling with, like elections, foreign policy, etc.

There is an ongoing case about Guliani and Parnas ongoing in the department of Justice (southern district of New York)

Yes, and if memory serves, Schiff was speaking out against the privacy over-reach.  Of course Nunes and Rudy must be terrorists.

Who knows? a lot of material is shared with the intelligence committee. The possibility that Americans, in particular those advising the president, might by compromised is of real concern to that committee. 

 

I did read the Mr. Parnas clearly signalled that he was ready to cooperate with congress.

So you assertion that Schiff got these records from SDNY is just a guess.  Parnas is slime, but considering Mueller was making deals with child sex traffickers, I suppose they are more believable.
