Medical exam DCF CR1

Hi everybody,

I'm preparing the CR1 at Paris embassy via a DCF.

I'm sure that many things were posted on this subject. But in order to win time I have some questions regarding the medical exam :

- What are the vaccines mandatories ?

- Should we have this done before the medical interview or vaccines lacking can be done by the doctor during the interview?

Thanks for your feedback.

I got this link from another thread a few days ago:

http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/...ccinechart.html

It has the vaccination requirements by age. I don't whether it's advisable to get them in advance and wondered the same thing myself. I'm thinking it may be cheaper to do it earlier if the vaccines are offered under your country's public health system.

Let's see what someone who's already been through the process says...

At the medical in London, you could get vaccines administered if you were missing one or two but they're not cheap.

If you're lacking a mandatory vaccine, see if you can get it done for free or at least cheaply on your own country's health service. I don't know how France's system works but it's supposed to be really great. :)

Milk it for all it's worth while you still can!
