No unfortunately I have yet to contact my senator. I have however try to ask them to expedite my case and their answer was NO.

Nina,
Your case has been there for too long, I would reach out to my senator. Please keep us in the loop

@Luckycuds When I called NVC the advised me that they are going to be working with the embassy. So I will assume it’s probably still with NVC. That’s kinda what the question was how long until an interview is scheduled and or my file gets to the embassy

ANy update?

@4jacques I still haven’t heard anything yet. I became DQ in late 11/2019. I’m just hitting my 4 months waiting period at the end of the month. I was told that Donald trump and his administration have a lot to do with this. Maybe we all should come together and reach out to our senators. I mean I k ow we are all in different states but it’s worth a try. Remember we are in election season.

I am not saying it makes a difference but are you a resident or citizen? I refuse to believe they would take 2 years to schedule an interview. That's beyond crazy

I am a US citizen the I130 was approved in 2018 and the case has been documentarily qualified sine June,5 2019 today made it exactly 9monts since, we have been waiting for this interview. Last I called NVC was today and no interview yet. I am just so frustrated with this whole process and Haiti with all the unrest’s makes it even more difficult. I get so depressed thinking about this nonsense

We are in the exact same boat.  Same approved year and month and same DQ month with just 14days apart. It really be getting to me and even mess with my patience.

Yes Madam G,

It is indeed a strategy. Please do reach out to your senator and share your concern. The normally have case workers who can reach out to the Department of State to figure out what is going on. Please keep us infom. Since my case is just from a week ago, I will continue to monitor you guys review from here. However, this is beyond ridiculous. People are being punished for doing things legally. Ps: above all, don't forget to vote.

Wow, why am I not surprised. A loophole, just keep delaying their applications while they are going through the legal system.

@Mmerant1 oh ok. I think there’s a difference with immigrant and non immigrant visas

There is, but, to schedule an interview is the same.
