No.

Biometrics are necessary to begin the review process.

It's the first step after the petitions are accepted for processing.

Well did they at least check that I filed everything right ?

Noa1 signifies that you filed the correct forms, signed them and made the correct payment.

You can still get an RFE up until:

1) the moment of approval for I765 and I131. That can take 5 to 7 months currently.

2) the moment your I485 is sent to your local field office to wait in line for an interview signified by the "Ready to be Scheduled for an interview" status. That could take a few months to a few years depending on your local field office.

Currently you have an estimated 200-300 days (or more) of waiting ahead of you, https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php . Your actual number of days, which may be more or less, is dependent on your Local Field Office (LFO) processing timelines, and from your profile that looks like New Orleans [The Big Easy... 😎] LFO. During the entire period of the time that your paperwork is at the LFO, you could be the recipient of a Request for Further Evidence (RFE). After receipt of an RFE, you are expected to thoroughly and promptly respond to this request by providing to them whatever any further evidence they want to review, within the specified time limit. If you get a RFE, all work stops on your case, and will not resume until they receive your response to the RFE. If you don't comply in a timely manner with the RFE, USCIS will likely consider that you have abandoned your case, and they will cease processing, and could initiate removal proceedings. You do not want to let that happen to your case.

The EAD and AP applications that you concurrently filed are separate applications from the AOS, but they are also related. Your family has to successfully give their biometrics to USCIS as directed as part of the process for AOS/EAD/AP applications. It is not the end of the process, but is more likely near the beginning of the whole process. If successful, they should receive their EAD/AP combo cards in around 6-8 months (that timeline is highly variable). Check out the Working and Traveling During US Immigration Forum for more information, https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/115-working-amp-traveling-during-us-immigration/ . With their EAD/AP combo cards, your child can apply for their Social Security Card (SSN) and state ID card, your wife can apply for her driver's license, or state ID, and is able to legally work. They can visit her relatives in her home country.

So while you are patiently waiting for your case to be processed, which can be akin to watching paint dry, or watching grass grow,  keep praying that you don't get any RFEs. 🙏  So sit back, relax, and enjoy some Zydeco...:dancing:
