Hello all,

Filed for AOS on 4/21/19, just got interview notice this morning for 1/15/20! Now to start on the checklist, and make sure everything is in order! (EAD/AP received in September)

Is the location of the interview in Irving? That's the Dallas office according to USCIS and the address. At any rate your interview is less  than a year that's a good thing.

Yep, it's the Irving office. I was a bit shocked that it was so quick, since it has been going so slow for so long! Hopefully we have enough evidence. My hubby has EAD, but doesn't work yet. We don't have joint bank accounts yet, only joint credit cards. We shall see!

Hopefully  you'll be alright. I'm pulling for you! This gives other Dallas folks  a measure of hope that the interviews will come in less than a year!

True! I'll keep y'all posted. He's on my car and health insurance, and is beneficiary on life insurance, so I think that should be good :)

I don't know if there is one in Dallas. I live in the outskirts of Fort Worth and I attended the appointment at the ASC in Quebec Street.

Just wanted to update that my case status online changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". Will update when it changes to "Interview scheduled". I am expecting it to happen around July but latest by the end of the year. I am currently pregnant and due in September so I may have to reschedule the interview if it happens around that time.

Looks like yours took around 9 to 10 months. Unfortunate that Dallas is so slow unfortunate for us that is. I don't understand why because there are other even larger cites that are faster than Dallas way faster. It also looks like if your interview takes a long while then also your EAD/AP takes awhile too. Yours took in excess of 160 days according to your time line. I'm at 130 days at this point. The VJ estimates don't do us any justice at least not me. It did not estimate correctly for the K1 and it's following suit with the AP/EAD. Nothing really to do but deal with it! Another reason to have wished I had of filed the spousal, but our situation made it not an option at the time.

Seems not like many filers from Dallas here we are only a few in this thread. I would have thought there would be many.

Yeah it's really annoying. Wish they would give us the option to choose to go to a different field office with lower processing times.

So, my hubby got his green card delivered on Saturday, yay! But, it has the wrong "resident since" date on it 😠 It has his PD listed, instead of the date of our interview/approval. Now to submit yet another firm to fix their error. Annoying, but still thankful!
