In essence, what does the message say if you have not signed the form etc. Just trying to figure out whether it is time to relax and wait it out; or am I not in the clear yet! 

 

 

 

The message should be the same in any case. If there is something wrong, they will send an RFE later. If it was denied right away (sent too early), i don't think you would have gotten any notification at all. You would just get your whole package back

weird yours got routed to Patomac instead of California. Are you filing from California?

Thank you for pointing that out!  I see what you mean, and I think I corrected it appropriately.  After filing K1, I apparently only updated my timeline, but not my profile.  Thanks again.

Our case just got accepted and got routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Our check got cashed today as well. 

Waiting to receive the NOA1 extension letter in the mail, and mailed my package in on the 31st of December and USCIS received it on January 2nd.

 

Is it standard to be sent to the National Benefits Center immediately? I'm in California.

Yes I did receive both a text message and email, then checked with my bank and saw that the check was cashed by USCIS as well.

I heard 2 things:

1) cases get transferred there just to reduce the backlog of other SCs

2) cases get transferred there if they intend to conduct the interview; however, they just have received your case, how can they possibly determine the necessity for the interview at this stage? unless in the system they have a mark of some sort, indicating from AOS filing that they want you to come back for the interview. 

I don't think you need to worry. I think it is just a backlog reduction

I received NOA in the mailbox on Monday or Tuesday (picked up on Tuesday). Looks like it was mailed on 1/2/2020 and dated as of 12/31/2019.
