Hi,

we have encountered, that when we fill in the dates for our marriage (from- to), we cannot type current or ongoing or anything like that. The only option we have is to type in the today's date. Which makes no sense as we are, of course, still married. Theres no pop up calender or anything liek that either. We called the hotline but they couldn't help. Same issue when putting in info on address and employer. We have tried all possible browsers as well, still the same.

Did anyone experience this issue?

We have filed online on Nov 22nd with that date being the "-to" date for all the above and just hope that this won't cause any delay in our petition....

Apparently my mother in law has received a letter from the DOH in the mail yesterday as that address is my husbands official mailing address. She'll scan and email it today as we're both physically in Germany, but I am wondering what that might be..?

Thank ya'll for any advise/ tip etc. ...

Greetings from Germany :)

You just fill in wedding date if marriage is still current

the letter is likely NOA1 (letter confirming their reciept of it) it will have your PD (priority date) and case number.. go create an account on USCIS website so you can track your case...

All online filers have the same issue - we just put the date of filing in any field where current or blank wasn't an option.

good to know- thanks for the info! the person on the phone at the Helpdesk said that he could write 'current', that's why we were a little confused.....

On the paper form, it's ok to use a pen to write present, but it's also ok to leave it blank.  Online, you could try all zeros.
