I swear I'm going to have a zoo within a year!

My neighbour called at 11am this morning to tell me the guy 3 doors down had kittens and was giving them away. She had already got one and I straight away said NO, no more animals.

So it took 4 hours before I had our new kitten in my arms!! She's a 7 week old calico and sooo cute! The dogs just want to lick her to death, the cat sniffs her then hisses and gets pissed off n sulks. She reminds me of the kittens in the Aristocats movie, with their little tails up in the air n their bums swishing from side to side as they walk! She plays for 5 mins then has to have a nap. She's eating like a horse and pooping like one too.

One thing we don't have yet is a name for her. Cali (as she's calico) is all we've really come up with. So any suggestions?

Helen

Cuteness! I have two new-ish kittens, and my other cat is exactly the same. She has got better over the past month or so, but there is still a lot of hissing and pulling of angry faces!

We called the girls Mio and Mayu (we are nerds, it comes from a computer game :)) Cali is a cute name!

Hahaha cat cam, how cute.

Well I now know when the kitten (as yet, still unnamed) is hungry. She goes up to one of the dogs and tries to suckle on their teats! It's so cute! They don't know what to do.

I always say don't rush into naming your cat, she'll name herself in the end. She'll do something funny lots of times, or will have a habit that is endearing. You'll think "ah yes, that's a good name".

My cats have all named themselves really. Sassy being our latest recruit. She has 7 toes on her front paws and 5 on each of her back feet, so she has massive feet. We called her Sasquatch (Big Foot) or Sassy for short and it really suits her.

One of our others is called Chunky. Self explanatory, really.

I think Cali, or Callie, is a really sweet name and suits her. But if not, something will crop up that'll be perfect.

Awww how cute, love the name Braska too. Dave's from PA.. vania's not got the same ring to it!

This one loves kleenex, she keeps stealing them. Must be a kitten thing.

The other cat's stop hissing at her now and has taken to batting her on the head! I'm hoping it's a sign of affection.

Still no name... I'm going to take mags advice and let her choose her own.

One of my cats, okay it's Sassy (had to be really) sits on my lap while I am on the loo. I was there for ages once because I didn't want her to have to get off me. I think my hubby got a little worried at one point and yelled "are you okay in there?".

my cats are buffalina and alfonse. Im a true believer in ridiculous names for Pets. Its considered cruel these days to give children ridiculous names, so the next best thing is calling your cat something cringeworthy.
