Hi guys: I am in my 40s and read that I need:

  • Td or Tdap
  • MMR
  • Varicella
  • Influenza (during flu season only; Oct. 1 thru Mar. 31)

SO: I have my record here:

I have had

  • DTP and Polio in Mar and May 77, Dec 77, Aug 81,
  • Measles 78
  • Tetanus 90
  • BCG 91
  • Polio 92
  • Hep A / Typoid 08
  • TD / IPV (essentially DTP) 08
  • FLU 11

What do I need to ask for - shall I just go and have them all again, before the medical?

Thanks

You need:

Td Tetanus/Diptheria because it has to be boosted within the last 10 years.

NHS will probably just have Revaxis which also has polio in it. No problem with that.

MMR  Mumps/Measles/Rubella

Varicella will be waived if you tell them you had chickenpox. No written proof needed.

Flu because it's currently flu season.

It would be prudent to receive them before the medical. It's easier and usually cheaper that way. Just keep proof of any given to take to Knightsbridge. MMR is a two-dose vaccination that needs some weeks inbetween.
