I just received an email from NVC with our case and invoice number! My wife is also included in the email they sent. I was wondering if my wife will receive anything in the air mail in Vietnam from NVC for additional instructions or do they only use email now?

How can I complete Choice of Address & Agent (DS-261), this is indicated as Step 1 on NVC website but after logging into https://ceac.state.gov/, I cannot click on that text on the top left corner.

I read on NVC website that if it has been two months since you submitted documents you can make an inquiry via phone call or email. I’m not sure how much that would help but it is worth a try I think:

 

If it has been more than two (2) months since you submitted documents to NVC, and you have not received any communications from NVC:

• Action required:  Keep in mind that NVC will not review your case file until you have paid your fees, submitted your Form DS-260, and submitted both financial and civil documents. If you are missing any of those items, please submit those now using these online instructions.
• Action required:  If you have submitted all of the required documents, forms, and fees and still have not heard from NVC, please give us a call at 1-603-334-0700 or send an email using our online inquiry form. Our Customer Service Representatives can confirm whether NVC received your documents and update you on the status of your case.

Congrats, I can be wrong but I don’t think she will receive any air mail in Vietnam.

I am the beneficiary and received on my mail the same email about case creation around a month and half later after receiving the email. Now I also received the NVC emails about our documents being accepted. but I don’t know if there will be more mail received in the future

You don’t need that Choice of Address and Agent.  You can pay fee now

Choice of address and agent is not done anymore, just follow the steps on the summary information

u need to submit all 3 documents i.e nadra registration, nikah nama and translation in one pdf file less than 2 mb
