What is the reason for the rejected documents?

"Please replace this with an acceptable military record. Please use our Document Finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable documents guidelines." -  and  2nd request was for the police certificate with similar message.

Had to rescan the docs in better quality and replaced previously submitted ones.

Sorry to hear that. When did you submit your original doc

@Knightgame185 it’s not worth calling. Just for email @Kurdish

I applied in 2018 when I was green card hold. I think it’s been more than 15 months for me

@zz top @vinzer that’s good news those who submitted in mid Nov are getting email.

why not me?

I honestly wish I knew, but seeing how some people waited only a few weeks to get DQ'd to others who take somewhere around 6 weeks for the same, I'm left to think that it's a combination of factors:

- documents from some countries are faster to verify than others

- having more applicants from a single country probably slows the review process for people from said country

And I guess the general idea that some reviewers take more time than others (essentially the human element in all things). I'm left to think this because my sister submitted her documents a day later than I did but got feedback three days earlier than me.

That said, the process is moving for all of our cases. It's really just a grind to wait it out. But it will come, just keep your head up. :)

Congratulations and thank you for sharing this update with us. At least we know that the NVC is reviewing some docs these past 2 days- We submitted our Documents on 11/19 and nothing yet for us. Hopefully we get a feedback soon. Our embassy is Philippines also.

Which country? If it was in a Muslim country then you need multiple documents for the marriage, I don’t know much about Muslim marriage certificates so hopefully someone else can chime in with what exactly you need but I do know that there is more than 1 needed. When you resubmit it will start the clock back over

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

did you do your English translation yourself? That could be your issue. I think it has to be a certified translation.

Oooo, just resubmit. They may accept it the second time. I’ve seen that happen.

yeah but it sucks I have to wait again. I had hope everything would be good in one submission. everything else was good just that I need to hand signature for my 184 ez and resbumitt the marriage certificate.

I am expecting the same on my 184ez as my husband did E-signature instead of ink and make sure the date is INK as well I have seen a few people mentioning on the forum.

Do not resubmit!!

my brother had to resubmit marriage Certificate and Urdu translation document. apparently they are two different docs.

i know marriage certificate has English and Urdu but that’s not what the are asking for. They are asking for Nikkah Nama translation. Nikkah is in Urdu, you need to get that translated

I’m still waiting for my update!
