Haven’t heard anything from them yet since they got the HR request. It’s been 6 months since, so I might follow up in a few weeks.

Hi, I have a question, we notified NVC of the death of petitioner last Aug 25, 2019 and they acknowledge Sept 29 of our request for HR, and said document under processing. However after two months, we still didn't get a confirmation from USCIS that they received my files from NVC. Case Status    in website also not showing it. We don't want to send our docs and request until we are sure that the files has been received by USCIS as it may be misplaced. We tried calling them but same answer in the case status. My priority date was current last August 2019. How many weeks did USCIS informed you that they received your files? Were you notified via email? Your reply is deeply appreciated. Thank you.
