K1 Visa filing a Chinese Address

I'm filling out the K1 visa for my Chinese fiancé. On part 2, page 5, section 11 a. - 11i. Do I need to write the address in pinyin or in its English translation?

Everything is completed using the roman alphabet except where specifically noted such as part 2, #49

BTW: Pinyin is not acceptable. You should use Mandarin characters.

 

拼音是根据汉字的发音对它们进行的罗马化。在普通话中，“拼音”一词的字面意思是“拼音”。

 

Directly below is Pinyin of the Mandarin phrase above and the English translation at the bottom:

 

(Pīnyīn shì gēnjù hànzì de fǎ yīn duì tāmen jìnxíng de luómǎ huà. Zài pǔtōnghuà zhōng,“pīnyīn” yī cí de zìmiàn yìsi shì “pīnyīn”.)

 

(Pinyin is the Romanization of Chinese characters based upon their pronunciation. In Mandarin,  the phrase "Pin Yin" literally translates into the phrase "spell sound.")

You may have to submit a supplemental page, suitably prepared according the the Form I-129F instructions, since Chinese addresses can be difficult to fit in the space allotted in the form.

Yes but that's for the beneficiaries address in their native language (49a-50f). I'm trying to fill out the beneficiaries address (11a - 11b). I assume they want it in the English translation. 

 

She did send me her address and name in Chinese characters for the section 49a-50f

Part 1 , Q. 11a-11b, is asking for your (petitioner) address, please read the instructions  under the heading Your Address History, again.

What edition is the form you are using? I am using the form edition expires 11/30/2020, from the site below:

Be sure that you are using the most current form edition.

Thanks for the replies. I'm using the form provided on the government website. I just took this screenshot from the visa journey website.

I just send mine also for my Chinese fiance 2 weeks ago and recieved my NOA1 a few days ago, write the English translation of the address (I needed to use the additional space) then there is another space for the chinese, we live together in China at the moment, so she was able to fill that out herself. best of luck to you!
