If you are talking about me, I said OP will be eligible to apply in Dec 2020 if he has other evidences of maintaining residency like lease or utility bills and such which OP hadn’t mentioned before his very last post. Now it’s clear that he doesn’t have any.

So if he did have such things, it would not matter that he had spent 10.5/12 months (x 2) away from the US?  That was why I asked if those things would cancel out the non-residential time.

If he had such things, the last 10.5 months would not be a concern as they are the proof that he maintained US abode. It’s not x2 as the first one is already out of equation. It would be one 10.5 months trip in last 5 years from Dec 2020. Anyway its pointless now that OP doesn’t have those.

It's still a judgement call, but with a much stronger case.

I wouldn't be so complacent as to say "would not be a concern". It's still a burden of proof on the applicant.
