See https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-information/form-filing-tips for guidelines on how to fill out forms and attach other evidence.

My recommendation for photos (other than the required 2x2" passport-style pictures) is to copy them into a Word document (or something like that) and print them several to a page on regular paper, so you can easily type the date, place taken, and who's in the picture rather than handwriting that. They're for immigration, not for a photo gallery.

Agreed with Paul & Mary. Quality >> quantity.

There's not exactly "overkill", but at the same time you don't want to drown out the good evidence with fluff. They spend minutes on each petition.

The most underrated - yet very powerful - tool you have is the ability to determine what they see. Show them something good. 👍

Personally, the 43 photos is probably unnecessary given the other evidence. But having a few won't hurt either.

i think I can reduce it to say 16 pictures .2 for each visit plus a couple more.  I can put 2 on my printer and scan and print them out... B & W   or Color??

I wish I could attach the pain and suffering of these 25 Hour transits.  By the way don't go to Thailand for vacation... They don't like foreigners except for our tourist $. The air quality is terrible in the whole country much of the year.  Trash everywhere... the beaches are trashed, the scuba diving is terrible compared to the Caribbean.  The women are nice.

I feel the need to clarify something on this "how we met"/"on going relationship" thing. It comes up so many times and I get the feeling a lot of people miss a vital difference.

For the I-129F aka the petition you just fill out the form (amount of space gives a good indication of how long you response should be). Look at the instructions provided with the form. This is done in the US and the person looking at it only cares that all the boxes are checked and all the answers are given (preferably correct).

Now the really important part, after your form is "approved" and forwarded to the embassy you need to go to the interview. Here things get extremely country specific. What is required in one embassy, they do not want to at another. Some are really easy (most low fraud countries) some are extremely hard. Read up on the regional forum about what your embassy/consulate wants to see. What works in Holland will not work for Russia and both are completely different from let's say Thailand or Morocco.

Where these 2 different things meet is at "front loading"

Some people like to "front load" their petition, (provide way more information than is required for the form) in the hopes of making things go easier at the embassy. I think Manila is one of those embassies where that works a lot of the time but again it is extremely country specific and I may be wrong.

So my advise is, check the regional forum and see or ask what is important for your embassy before sending of the application.

Sending your 100 pages of chat logs is not front loading, is wasting time.  You can ALWAYS hand carry evidence, and most consulates will want proof of ongoing relationship (the amount is counsulate specific, and if they even look at it is debatable) as well as the documents like police record, support, etc.

Are some countries harder?  Sure.  I've been reading here a long time and some places are just nuts.  Whats up in Morrocco??  China is fairly lax, but most people think its a high fraud country.

Take a look at the VJ filled out I-129F form: https://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-129F.pdf

In this example, they leave some places blank, instructions say put "N/A" ... which is the absolute correct way? I know i made a similar post like this, but this example form is causing more confusion

AOS

This site has a lot of info.. but it is FAR from perfect.  ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS follow the offical directions when there is a descrepency.

And the I-129F instuctions are CLEAR:

Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed.

See what I mean?  They post a 'bad' example on the VJ site.  Will you get an RFE?  Possibily.  The clerk entering your data will not assume the answer, they will put in exactly what you wrote on the paper.  Right or wrong, they really can't devine what it should say, only what you wrote (or did not).
