interview in trinidad

Hello,

 My fiancé got an appointment for his interview in trinidad on 12/30/19. However I am confused on the interview instructions it saying to register yourself or any other family who plans to immigrate on the ais .usvisainfo.com.  I have to pay in  Scotia bank The fee is showing us235 when I enter his information it keep saying their are no appointments available.  

Can he just pay the bank first or wait for instruction when to pay the bank.

The only way you can pay the visa fee ($265, by the way) is to first get a confirmation # from the ais website. Then, once you get this receipt #, you can go to the bank and deposit the payment. Then the ais website will allow you to schedule the interview and subsequent steps.

I got the letter, two weeks after letting them know I got all the documents. I received it in 11/26/19
