I am preparing all the paperwork to do the AOS and I was wondering about the I-131 advanced parole application, can it be sent in later or should it be sent in with the AOS paperwork. I like the idea of it being there if we so chose to use it but the cost is prohibitive so I don't want to spend the money unless there are more pros than cons for doing so now instead of later.

What money?  It's fee waived with the i485

YMMV

The EAD and AP (131 and 765) are no additional cost when filing with AOS.

It absolutely makes the most sense to file all of them.

The fee for EAD and AP is waived (no fee) if you submit them together with I-485.  File all 3 together.

I strongly suggest you research the AOS process a bit more before you start sending forms and payments. The fact that you are asking this type of question suggests that you are still very much in the dark about the whole process.

I thought this was here to aid in my research? If it bothers you so much to help others please keep moving but keep your negative comments to yourself.

And that’s how I’m helping you - telling you to slow down and read everything before filling out the forms.

That’s the best advice anyone can give anyone in this process.

I would also remind you that telling others not to post is against the site’s TOS.

This site is primarily a Do-it-yourself (DIY) site. It is not a "we regurgitate the answers to you" site. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. If that bothers you, there are plenty of immigration lawyers that will be glad to have you as a client.

Best wishes on your immigration journey.

To aid your research.  Not in lieu of you doing your own due diligence and researching the things that are critical to your own successful immigration process.  Empower yourself.
