MyUSCIS vs CEAC.State Discrepancy

Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone can solve this puzzle. I noticed that the messaging on CEAC and MyUSCIS account when checking case status, are different. To add to the confusion, I have asked others who also have I-129Fs submitted  around the same time as mine to check their case status in the two sites, and they all have the same messaging on both. Both list the petition submitted date, and the standard message:

“We received your form I-129 F Petition for Alien Fiancé, receipt number ****, on such and such date and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you don’t receive the receipt notice by such and such date, contact blah blah blah”

That’s the normal standard message that appears in CEAC for me and for the others I asked; that exact same message appears for the others on MyUSCIS as well, but on my MyUSCIS account, it doesn’t show that message, instead it says:

“We received your case
You do not need to do anything at this time

We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.”

That’s it. It doesn’t say anything about when they received it,  nor that I should be expecting the NOA1. What’s concerning about mine is not only is the messaging different but also doesn’t even say the date my petition was submitted or received as it does for the others who have the standard received message.

I’m trying to figure out what this means. Is it a system glitch/error, or is this an indication/clue that an officer has actually picked up my file and has begun the adjudicating process and it’s no longer just sitting on their desk waiting for them to get to it. Any ideas? Btw my received date 8/30 so I’m already at my 90 days. Of the others that I asked, one is a day or two after my NOA1 date and others are a week or more after.

First off you're overthinking this process. Second USCIS, NVC and your embassy will NEVER promise you a date that they will be finished adjudicating your case. Third, you are experiencing what is refereed as NORMAL processing. From your description we see nothing to be concerned with.

for USCIS you do not send anything to them unless you get a RFE so nothing more is needed / they just check to see if all needed documents are with the application

for NVC they do need extra documents and will tell you what to send according to what is already with the application and what they need to send case onto embassy

the 2 do an entirely different part of the process and if this was a CR1,  it would even be more complicated at the NVC stage

You didn’t answer my question. I didn’t say anyone promised me any date of them finishing adjudicating my case. My question was: why is the messaging on MyUSCIS account different from the MyUSCIS account messaging that others who submitted their application around the same time received. Out of 10 of us, only mine is different, there’s are all the same. The only difference between us is that my NOA1 date is before theirs. I’m asking why the messaging is different. Does anyone know?

Yes I’m aware of that, I’m just wondering why the messaging is specifically different for me, and not the others that I asked. Their MyUSCIS account status message is completely different from mine, even though we are all still in the “waiting for NOA2 stage”, the message should be the same, but it’s not.

Does it matter that it's different? You havent explained how it is different.  Also don't compare your case to other people's unless you're way put of processing times.

I did explain how it’s different, see the two quoted text in my first post. I’m comparing my cases to others because we submitted our petition around the same time; the same reason why we have a specific topics on this forum for filers of specific months, so they can communicate and compare their processing times and experiences.

maybe you guys didn’t actually read for first post. I’ll post Pics instead, maybe you’ll understand it better then.

Is your I-129F approved? If so then stop checking the USCIS status update.  No matter what update system theyve used, it's always been a PITA.  Some people never get past an initial "we recieved" well into citizenship.

If it hasnt been approved then checking the CEAC site is useless. They have no idea you exist and use a different case number as part of the DOS not the DHS.

And your inital post is confusing as you bold one quote but not the other.

No it hasn’t been approved and my question isn’t about CEAC, it’s specifically about MyUSCIS, and I bolded that quote specifically to highlight the DIFFERENCE I was referring to since everyone else’s MyUSCIS account is saying the SAME message. But my fault, pictures are better, I’ll post them below so you can understand. Let me break it down again.

-My I-129F is still pending.
-My friends I-129F are still pending

-My petition was Received August 30th

-My NOA1 is September 4.

-My other friends NOA1 dates are a few days to a few weeks later than mine

-But we are all still pending our NOA2.

-We all created a MyUSCIS account

-We all added our own receipt numbers to our account

-They all have this message appearing

Same messaging

-I, however, have this message appearing

Different Messaging

See the difference? No received or submitted date and the messaging is totally different. If you don’t know the answer to my question just say you don’t know instead of giving me random information that isn’t relevant to my question, which is: Why is my messaging different from the others if we are all at the same point/stage in the process, which is waiting for NOA2

It means nothing.

If you don't care about the CEAC then why is it even in your topic title?  lol

To again, highlight the fact that all of our CEAC status updates are the same, the discrepancy with my and my friend’s case status is not found in CEAC, is on MyUSCIS. I mentioned CEAC to point out that we ALL had the same message there, but NOT the same message on MyUSCIS. Sorry if the title confused you, and apparently my question as well.
