Hello!

Wife and I filing for the I-751. We're ready to file it. However, our evidence is about 1000 pages big and double sided. My questions are

1) how do you guys recommend we file it? Use a binder or what are some alternatives? We've organized it, just don't know how to, I guess, keep it together?

2) We also have chat logs from Facebook, since it's our primary mode of communication. Should we submit those? There's definitely some NSFW stuff. Also the chat logs are about 9 pages long, and each page has about ~1000 pages worth of texting.

Thanks!

I promise that USCIS does not want to read 1000 pages of chats, NSFW or not.

Have you read the VJ guides, and the info on the USCIS site?  You need to show evidence of a commingled life, not chat pages.

Anything to chime in on the first part of the question? I’ve also seen plenty of people including entire text message histories and call logs in their packets

There is no reason to send chats/ emails/texts for removing conditions.

They want evidence that you live together and co-mingle your life and finances.

For example: Lease/mortgage, utility bills, health insurance, car insurance ect.showing both names.

Joint bank accounts

Life insurance showing each other as beneficiaries

driver licenses with same address

I could go on and on.

I agree, chat logs are a waste of time for ROC.  USCIS is not looking to review your day-to-day communications.  Include only the items that show a commingled marriage such as joint bills, Wills, leases, etc.

Good Luck!

The only reason to send chat logs is if, for some (good) reason, the two of you have had to live separately during the ROC period, and you are trying to prove that you are "doing life" together, even though you have to be apart.

Your pages should focus on financial data first.  If you have 1000 pages of bank statements/credit card statements/insurance policies, then fine.  It's QUALITY, not QUANTITY for ROC.

If you are filing ROC and your primary form of communication is facebook you have other problems.

I-751 evidence should clearly demonstrate with hard evidence that you lived together, co-mingled finances, and shared obligations during the last two years.

Texting involves none of this.  Throw it out.

Question on this - Everything sent in to USCIS should be single sided or has that requirement changed ?
Sorry OP, I am not trying to take over your post but I noticed you stated you sending them in double sided and always thought single sided only was allowed.
Could someone confirm it can be submitted that way ?
thanks.

1.)  I think they appreciate it 2-hole punched at the top, with fasteners.  If you use dividers, use bottom tab ones.

2.)  My husband and I chose to include some texting.  About 9 pages, which spanned a day per month.  We chose to include this because in our cover letter we mentioned we work opposite shifts, so even though we don’t spend hours together each day, we still talk to each other all day long.  This was definitely overkill, and I think our package would have been just fine without it.

As mentioned above, focus on the quality probative evidence.  Showing you live together (joint lease/deed, copies of DL), financial commingling (tax transcripts, banking/credit accounts), jointly owned items (car titles), other joint accounts (car insurance, health insurance, legal documents where the other spouse is a beneficiary) etc. are better quality items.

You could be inviting unwanted questions if it looks like you’re not simply together to talk to each other.

I agree with that but the messages are when we are working or I’m at school or shopping etc
