A lot of it also depends on the beneficiary's lifestyle. Do they have a career? If so, the move to the US + several months of not being able to work makes it much tougher - both in terms of not being able to do much but sit home + gap of a work history makes finding equivalent work difficult.

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

Processing times are always changing as well. Be aware there’s so much more in deciding which visa to go for other than “the fastest”.

many do not make a timeline

many applying for a visa do not join VJ

many do not keep up with the timeline when they are denied and/or quit the process

Russia is not a high-fraud country when it comes to fiancee and spouse visas (seriously, Anastasia's was really easy). The overwhelming majority of women on sketchy "Russian Bride" sites are from Ukraine, not Russia.
