I look forward to reading your "We Got Approved!!!" message :)

Approved! I don't even have the power to dance now :) We stayed inside longer than expected, even though I was with my 3 years old daugther.

Interview was easy and the lady very friendly, but we waited and waited and in the end, after 3 hours, another lady told me everything is ok (which I already knew, from the lady who interviewed me) and visa approved, but that I should come back tomorrow to get our passports, cause visa could not be issued this afternoon due to "technical reasons".

Thank God it's all good... Congratulations Craig & Kim, Dan & Gemvita, good luck to the thers with your interviews... Tomorrow I think I'll come back with a full description of the experience.

Aloha kakou,

Have any fellow February filers received their physical/interview dates yet??

Bill and Joan

Hi! I envy you guys. My fiance filed the I-129f petition end of January 2007 through an immigration lawyer and until now he has not gotten the NOA2 yet. I have not gotten my medical/ interview schedules nor any packet. I'm starting to be impatient. I think his lawyer filed it in Nebraska. I wonder why you guys who filed later, already has interview/ medical dates. By the way, my fiance got the NOA1 15th of May 2007. I check our status online three times a day but i don't see any updates. Where do you suggest should i get updates on our application? Atleast for some good news? And also, during the actual interview, do the interviewers really look for money transfer receipts or the likes? My fiance does not give me money and i'm worried about this. I don't have any receipts to show. Please enlighten me on these things. Thanks!!!

If you got your NOA1 in May, that means your lawyer didnt file the petition with the USCIS until May. They send out NOA1, as soon as they receive the petition. From there it will take about 3 months or so. You probably wont see anymore status changes on the website until around late july or august.

Thank you all for your congratulations, and good luck to those with upcomming interviews.

The interview for us was apparently really easy. The CO didn't even ask to look at any of the additional evidence that my finance brought with her. I did send some evidence of our communication with the petition, apparently that was enough.

He asked a few questions, mostly about what I do, and where I live and if I had ever been married before. After all that, he said everything looks good and gave my fiancee a slip and told her to come back on Tuesday to pick up the passport with the visa.

I was expecting all the visa stuff to be done in July or maybe August. Its nice that its all done now. We wont be making the trip until Sept or probably October, So that Vita can finish up the last couple months of school and get to see her brothers family new baby before making the trip over here.

But its nice to be done with the visa process. It will be a break for awhile until we start the AOS process. But we will definetly still be around here, seeing all the other February filers through.

awesome news, Wildrose!

I have not seen you around here much, so it nice to read your post of your good news!

Dan & Gemvita,

I have no words to say thank you other than thank you, and thank you to EVERYONE who has been faithful in praying for us.

Our petition is still laying about at NVC. It has been 30 days now, and all I get is the same old run around. First they say AR now they are saying AP.....sheesh!

I am so happy for those who are having interviews, for those who had interviews and very happy for those who already have their visa's !

God Bless Feb. Filers!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

:dance: YES,YES,YES, My S/O, "Mustang-Sally" has just received her packet 3 in the post. I hope she goes! ;)(F)(F) oh, and we are just about ready to send in my request for a "Visitors Visa" for a stay of two months to help my loved one get through her operation. Wish us luck and please keep praying for her healthy recovery. And as hard as it is, we are doing things within the law so as not to have any repercussions from any overstay. If I could, I would of gone there and stayed two years ago :o:whistle:

anybody else just feel like giving up? I have, but my love for Maggie keeps me sane

Thanks! It says in the NOA1 that my papers will be forwarded to the USE Mla. in two weeks time, so that means that it will reach Mla. by mid June or earlier. I have no idea when the lawyer actually filed the petition in Nebraska. I have no ways of knowing. I don't want to be pushy on these things. I guess all I have to do is to wait. Check was encashed last February according to my fiance. I have so many apprehensions at this time. I can't avoid to be sad. My fiance filed the petition through an immigration lawyer because he wanted to be sure of what were supposed to be done but it seems that this is causing more delay. Take care all of you!
