Hello Everyone,

After receiving an unexpected RFE. I got my NOA2 in the mail on 12/20/2019.

I have updated email (Thanks Greenbaum).

Now patiently waiting for NVC

Can you share with us what was the RFE for?

RFE requested more evidence of "bona fide" relationship.

I had included everything in the original application, I guess they just wanted additional info?

I was lucky, as I had just came back from my second visit so I had more of everything.

STUPID QUESTION ALERT.

I have as far as I know done all I can to a point after getting my NOA2 - Police Report, Jab Certs, Registered with State Dept, filled out the DS-160 (etc...)

What am I actually waiting for to move forward in terms of knowing when my file is with NVC. I am sure I have been told - but I cant remember.

Apologies.

You are awaiting your case to arrive at NVC and waiting for your NVC case number now.

Both. If you get the number then you can following your file enrount to your embassy and you can also begin some of the process their for your embassy. Find the UK sub-forum here on VJ where there are others are discussing what is needed and how things are completed in the UK. Go to the top of this page and in the blue ribbon select "Forums" and then scroll 3/4 down the page to find your country. Good luck.

Thanks... when using this tool: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=stLgYJNY3SVNSD63kBq4ow==

The case number is the NVC issued one right NOT the WACXXXXXXXXX one.

Joining this thread, finally. Got approved last Friday, 12/20. I've read the PDF on the first page and did the NVC update. Will be requesting for some documents for the interview after Christmas. We're just so happy! 💖

The past few days I've been collecting everything I can collect at this moment for the interview and I was wondering if I'm still missing anything. Could you guys help me check?

What I got so far:

- Copy of I-129F package with updated evidence of ongoing relationship + intent to marry (I'll keep updating this as I'm in the US right now for Christmas so I'll make sure to include some pictures from family gatherings)

- 6 passport photos

- 2 I-134s from both my fiance and our sponsor + financial evidence

- Copy of my birth certificate (I also have an extra copy of my fiance's, not sure if necessary though)

- Police certificate

- Vaccination booklet for medical exam

Is there anything else I can do before I get my case number?

Maybe W-2 and tax return transcripts from both your fiancé and co-sponsor?

I don't know if I have shared the P3 for your embassy with you or not but I will post again in the event that I did not. All that is needed is what is contained in the P3. You don't need to bring the "kitchen sink" as you will be in front of the CO at your interview for less then 5 min.

P3 Instructions

Appointment letter

Medical Letter Dr. Shulte

Vaccinations

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Here is what is needed for the financials. The petitioner and the co-sponsor(s) must submit their information according to the below requirements.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form 1-134. If the petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a Joint-Sponsor should ALSO be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident), who will also have to complete form 1-134. Both, the Sponsor (Petitioner) as well as the Joint-Sponsor, will have to present last year's income tax return transcripts. W2 form and proof of current and sustainable income (e.g letter of employment on letterhead including salary and start date, most recent salary receipts, bank accounts, value of properties, etc.). You may download the 1-134 affidavit at: https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.
