Did they ask for a notarized statement of the events leading up to the arrest and charges?

Wait till your RFE comes then you can map out your strategy. As of today, you really don't know what they are looking for unless you have the RFE, which you haven't stated.

Here's the order for your reply.

1. Cover letter explaining what is in your package. List each item with a "subject" matter.

2. The original RFE letter.

3. Your "materials" that answer the RFE

4. Use their envelope they sent with the RFE.

Make copies of everything that you are sending for your files.

That's it.

Hopefully it's something simple like the incorrect passport sized photo of my fiancée that I submitted.

Whatever it is I'm sure it's an easy fix. The way RFEs have been going it's either birth certificates or income information. But no need to speculate best to wait for it.

Income information in an RFE? I know the I-129F requests that you list where you work, but not how much you make.

Did you submit your reply yet?

Nope I gotta wait for the certified court docs and the police report to come in. From 2 different offices 😩 but i requested that stuff on Monday. So just waiting for that now 🤦🏽‍♀️ could take up to 4 weeks but hope and pray it’s not that long.

My RFE only asked for that if the certified court documents and police reports were not available. I included my RFE so you can get an idea of what one might look like.325A8F9E-C71F-4475-AAB4-0BD16F8A7AFD.thumb.jpeg.c40fc2fe41e7963bfe4ce38520fe1eb9.jpeg

Anywhere we can see a sample cover letter for the rfe? And also what if everything doesn’t fit in that envelope? You think it would be a problem to put everything in a larger one?

In the second paragraph it says, "in addition to evidence the court documents are not available, submit a notarized statement detailing the events...."

Don't you have to submit this too?

How do you go about getting a police report on top of the court records?? What if you cannot obtain one?

The first sentence of the 2nd paragraph says IF the courts dispositions are not available then.....all that other stuff,  but if they are available then you don’t need to do all that. I contacted the police department that arrested me for the police report. They have my request and are processing it. They’ll send me the report when they get around to it. Paid $30 for that thing 🤦🏽‍♀️  And I’m assuming if you can’t get one then you would have to submit the notarized statement detailing the events.

Why do more than you need to do when what you need to do, as outlined in the RFE, doesn't require you to do more. I have seen some who submitted more than they needed to, and reply opened additional scurrility to thier case. So, do what do will do. Simple. Don't make it more than it needs to be.

I hope you have a better understand of that phrase.

Don't you have to submit this too? If the court documents ARE NOT available. Key words "ARE NOT".

How do you go about getting a police report on top of the court records?? You go to the Police Station and as for the records. Many of this information maybe online for this PS. Research?

What if you cannot obtain one? Same procedure as is outlined for the court documents.

Hope that explains it for you.
