I thought it would be interesting to use case tracker to pull some stats. I pulled all I129F petitions that were received on Dec 19. Mine is one of them.

Stats show:

101 total petitions with Dec 19 Receive date

43 have been approved

15 were sent RFEs

7 were rejected

1 withdrawn

35 are still waiting for updates, including mine.

So if we haven’t heard anything and still waiting would mine that we submitted on the 23rd December still be in the 35 awaiting approval? :)

Yes. If your received date in Dec 19. What I am seeing is all petitions received on the 19th have a NOA1 date of Dec 23.

Thank you for letting me know! And if ours had gotten rejected or request for more information it would of showed on our online checker? Do you know much about people getting theirs expedited if their fiancé is deploying ?

You will usually get a Rejected status almost immediately after submitting you petition. You won't even get NOA1. Most causes for this are people forgetting to sign their forms, sending an outdated form or sending the incorrect payment amount.

If you get an RFE, your status will change from Case Received to Request for Additional Evidence Was Sent.

I don't know anything about expedited petitions.

USCIS has established a toll-free military help line exclusively for members of the military and their families. USCIS customer service specialists are available to answer calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (CST), excluding federal holidays. After-hours callers receive an email address that they can use to contact USCIS for assistance.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

@Sarge2155 thank you for in-jinxing me yesterday because I was APPROVED this morning🥳🥳🤩🤩!!!!

Noa1 December 9. I signed up for text message alerts on the uscis website and received the text this morning to check for the update. I then went to look at the case tracker app and it said “APPROVED”!! No RFE!! 157 days..

Yeah!! I'm so happy for you both. Congratulations! I have the same NOA 1 date, so I'm hoping mine will follow soon! 😁
