How many people in this topic (December filers) are still waiting for NOA2? Today marks 4 months since NOA1 for me.

I'm on day 143...

We've been waiting since December 2, 2019 and while it's discouraging to see many January and some February approvals, I still have hope that ours will come soon. 🙏

JM said he is tracking 50 cases on his case tracker.  Maybe he got the WAC numbers from his FB group.  If your are tracking a case on case tracker, then you need the WAC number, no?

He follows his case on case tracker, you can search up to 500 cases I believe. Anyways, his case is bunched up with others around the same date. I myself followed 5 random petitions without knowing who they are. It’s pretty handy actually.

I have an Android based phone, so case tracker is not available. There are similar tools that let you see other cases around yours. Mine is with a ton...85 or so that were received on Dec 19th. Some of these have been approved. Only one shows an RFE, a few others were not accepted because the petitioner neglected to sign the form or sent the wrong amount of payment.

Ironically, only 28/80 have been approved. Thats 35%.. The last one was approved on April 17th.

It's actually kinda comforting we're all in the same situation. I sent my documents on Dec 24 2019 and received my NOA1 on Jan 2, 2020. So, still  waiting on my NOA2. Kinda nervous. 😬 Hope everything will be okay.

@Jmgold87  I am curious, how do you know 50 WAC numbers?

I’m a she btw lol. But if you download the USCIS case tracker app you can search up to 500 cases before or after your case. And pick the ones you want to save. Also you can just search receipt numbers and track them. Basically if your receipt number is for example wac123456 you would search wac123457, 58, 59 and so forth. Not all receipt numbers around yours are for the same visa type tho. But it shows you which type they are and you can choose to track them like you would your own. Hope that makes sense.

Hey guys in case you haven’t seen it or signed it. Someone created a petition to allow for immediate family and fiancés to be exempt from the executive order. Go ahead and sign if you can. Doesn’t hurt.

Filed Dec 5th. Still waiting on NOA2. 141 days. 🙏🏾

Don't know why there are those in December waiting while those in January and February are beginning to get their NOA2's. More patience is needed.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Of the ones that are are tracking, are any being approved? Seems like nothing is being approved or very few every day. Per Igor's list, it looks like maybe 35%,9 of December filers have received NOA2.

I sent my 129F on 12-17-2019 and still have not received my NOA2. I am sure I will hear something someday. I am taking a different approach than some I see on here, I have never checked my status, I figure it will happen when it happens...... by checking many time a day just adds stress and drama in my opinion.  Of course I want my  beautiful lady here ASAP, but worrying about it won't speed up the process in my book. A friend of mine who went through the immigration process years ago said it best, " petitioning someone into this country is not for wimps" LOL

A lot of the cases I’m following are the same receive date as mine which is Dec. 4th. There hasn’t been an approval since Apr. 8th. A few RFEs on the 9th, then on the 16th and 17th and then yesterday a few more. But no approvals since the 8th. And I’m following a good amount. There’s even one from nov. 14th still waiting. I’m at 142 days now and there’s plenty of others in the same boat from what I can see.

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process?

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules"
    • it will take as long as it will take
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience - yours and theirs are not the same
    • They only promised you a YES or NO answer. Never an exact time that their decision would be completed
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

Good luck on your journey
