128 days here... Everyday I wake up believing today will be the day.

Same here. I check email and case status site every 30mins from 9am to 12pm everyday lol. 118 days now. Everyday that passes, the sooner we are 💪

We must have filed at the same time. I'm at 117 days. And yes, check the status all day long.

Not on my end..134 days

Same here... You know I was thinking, but I could it be they cut down staff?  Because if they are fully staffed but work from home... I think we should be seeing more approvals?

Somebody in the Nov. group posted that they contacted USCIS and were told they are short staffed. I'm starting to think some people's petitions are sitting on desks of people who are not working.

I can't make sense of any of this so I don't try

I hope not. That would be absolutely crazy and out of order. Surely they would know who's not working, etc, and sort applications accordingly.

I was approved at 135, hoping you get a surprise tomorrow! 🎉

Hopefully, but I won't hold my breath. I'll start to get a little nervous after 6 months of waiting. I'm relaxed right now thank goodness

Here is the other side of the argument. There is a worldwide pandemic. Each of us have been mandated to stay home (if you are not what is considered "essential") until this passes. That includes office workers such that USCIS. The work that they can do from their computers at home may be enough to get cases adjudicated. BUT they are depending on other countries to "respond" to background checks. If your country doesn't find that it essential to do that step, then you are "dead" in the water till such time as it once again becomes important. It's easy for us to sit here on this side and think something should be done when what can be done is being done. It's what can't be done that holds up a case.

I'm not following your logic here. Sorry. Are you saying that USCIS knows which of their employees are not working and those who are, the work should be redistributed? I believe that has happened already. You see we don't know what is behind the scenes here. We think we know but we don't. I posted a link in the NOA1 "why" it takes so long. It's not in this group as Sarge started this thread but it is in mine. Search it out, it would enlighten your knowledge. It did mine.
