I know this question has been answered however I'd like to know if regularly this happens that a month like January is close to have the same number of approvals than December? happened before? if anyone knows :) ...

I’m a November filer. And I did not see many December filers (from here) approved before me. I am quite surprise January is getting many approvals and they seem to have less applicants than months before...

There are three or four pages just clicks away that address your concern. It is irrelevant if they did, or didn't do this in the past.  Perhaps the combined volume of December and January petitions was not highso they are reviewing them simultaneously. Just be patient. Your time will come.

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process?

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules"
    • it will take as long as it will take
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience- yours and theirs are not the same
    • They only promised you a YES or NO answer. Never an exact time that their decision would be completed
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

Good luck on your journey

I'm just curious. Ive been checking the data for sometime and notice a bit of discrepancy on the response time over the NOA1 to NOA2 for December. I'm not sure if would be related to the unprecedented times we are in right now that is creating some overlapping on requests. I'm happy to wait my turn though but knowing the implications of the process It's clear that It takes time for approval. However if the numbers are almost equally for both months that could be a sign of a bit of delay or overlap petitions?   As the question has been raised before then i guess people might wonder what could be happening :) ...

I completely understand and agree wholeheartedly with your copy/paste oratory. I’m not waiting on NOA2, Not sure why you quoted me on this, simply giving my opinion to another poster...

Well. I have little tricks that I use to answer most repeated questions. So, in a split second to 30 seconds I can answer many of their questions. Other questions that I don't have an answer readily available, I do my research to find the information through different "laws" or procedures. Some of my answers are long in nature and some two or three words. I have been accused of being short and using less then soothing language. :D  I read a lot of different threads and gather answers to questions I anticipate someone will ask down the road. I am always trying to refresh my information if necessary. Many of the P3's I provide have come from VJ members such as yourself. This gives me a P3 to respond to others who will ask down the road if I have a copy, well after the VJ who provided the information is on to other things.

That's my secret. Shhhhhh. 🤫 Don't tell anyone. :)

Because every post on VJ can be responded to whether it is directed to the individual or not. You'll find it outlined in the TOS for VJ.  If you don't like my answers or "cutting in" on your "fun" then block me. So now we have an understanding I will get back to authoring more "copy/paste oratory" to help those who are more appreciative of my seasoned answers.  See ya.

If you are using VJ timelines to make that determination I would add a bit of caution. The sampling you receive is depended on those who participate with a timeline. Many on VJ do not. That's why you'll see me ask someone to finish their profile and start their timeline. As you know the larger the sampling the better the data is to determine what it is that you want to achieve analytically. Just saying.
