We got our NOA2 TODAY! I almost did not check today, but thought "why not". When I saw the status change on my case tracker app I almost fell over!

And now, we continue waiting. Is this correct that NVC is not operating at the moment? I had not heard that. I knew the embassies were closed (or, at least the embassy in Peru is currently closed).

I guess we continue to be patient

NVC is sending out cases to those embassies that will accept them and they are still assigning case numbers.

NVC and Embassies are not doing anything at the moment, so really no rush to get NOA2.

Ahhhh I think you are misinformed. NVC is assigning case numbers and shipping cases to the embassies that will accept.

I guess I was under the assumption that no embassies were doing interviews at the moment.

Because a case is sent to the embassies does not infer that a interview will take place anytime soon. My comment was to inform you that cases are getting assigned case numbers and files are being sent to the embassies. Now it may look like the occupants are on vacation and no one is taking in their mail and newspapers, which by the way are stacking up on the front porch, but soon things will return back to normal. Not a time to worry about your visa. Stay safe and keep your gun powder dry.
