That means we should still see approvals, unless they suspend all service?

USCIS employees  undoubtedly are able to work from home and since most petitions are digitized they can work offsite and from home. Once it gets to the embassy phase then if things are shut down still that's where the hold up will begin.

I feel you on this, my fiance and I parted on Dec. 5 and haven't seen each other since. He's my only friend and during this hard and scary time, it hurts that we can't be together and we'd have to wait even longer. He was planning to visit me in April, but there's no chance with the travel bans and I don't want him getting sick.

We will get through this though, hang in there.

Thank you for your words. It just gets harder and harder to be away! Where are you at in your process, do you think you will feel effects of this too much?

Thank you. That’s what I figured. I pray Jamaica embassy is back up by May or June, but I won’t hold my breath.

Do k1 visa applicants need face to face services for our process? How does this effect our approvals? I’m just curious to know🤦🏽‍♀️

There are no face to face interview at the NOA-1 to Embassy phase. Embassy is the only place that a interview face to face will be executed. We don't have any idea what the physical setup is for USCIS agents is at the moment. We can assume that they can work from home, but that has not been published any where so it's still speculation on our part. We are still seeing some approvals so the pipeline hasn't completely been shut off.

Just need a little more patience till this blows over.

Any updates guys? Some approvals? How are y’all feeling?

We saw a few get approved yesterday. May be we will see some more today. Also some were shipped out. We have a little movement but nothing like before the virus.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
