I agree. I'll be out in March for more than 2 weeks, so I definitely want to sign up for this service if available in my zip code. I'd like to at least know what's coming in a week even if it's 3-4 days delayed! Doesn't have to be the morning of the delivery. 🙂 Plus, March is my birthday month, so if there's a chance I may get a present from USCIS, I'd like to know from Down Under. ❤️😂

On another note, I noticed a couple November filers approved! My prediction seems accurate. Haha. Just want to keep attracting those good vibes! WE ARE NEXT, people!! Respect to all USCIS employees who work day in and day out to get us closer to being with our loved ones! And on that note, let's see what today brings!

News to my ears!!🥳🥳🥳 Thanks for the update!!

Anyone traveling during the coronavirus outbreak going on? I have a flight to Australia in less than 2 weeks, flying out of the East Coast of the US. I do have a layover in LA... Truly hoping for the best. I trust that our administration has taken enough measures to keep us safe, but who knows. 😐

I think we are cool inside the US  as far as travel,  but you never know who you are sitting next too! LOL hopefully you'll be safe and enjoy your trip!

I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket, trusting this all to the Government. You have to take some personal responsibility. The number ONE items I would have along with me is a supply of 1) alcohol wipes to clean surfaces off where you will be sitting such as the arm rests and tray tables on the airplane. 2) use fresh wipes for your hands or bring a small travel size container of alcohol to use on your hands. 3) facial masks that I would wear the entire trip from getting out of the car at the airport to getting into a car in Australia. 4) use common sense and consider staying away from crowds.

Good luck and have fun.

Definitely! I will be doing all of those. I kind of already always pack the hand alcohol gel... I am such a germophob. But will definitely look into getting a mask as well and make sure I get the wipes as well. I guess beyond that, not much I can do but hope that nobody coughs or sneezes in my face. 😬

Hey EllaC! I just got back from Serbia last week and while I was really nervous to travel, everything went fine.  I made sure to have a supply of antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer.  As soon as I sat down in my seat, I wiped everything with the wipes including the tray table, screen, magazine pocket, arm rests and the seat recline button.  Then I used the hand sanitizer to clean my hands and kept it out to use during the whole flight before meals and after and sporadically during the flight.

I did research on the face masks and what I found is that they can actually be more harmful for you if you're not sick because they trap in moisture and then it gets all icky and does the opposite of what you hope to achieve.  They say they're only helpful if you are sick and are trying to prevent others from catching what you have.  Just keep washing your hands and don't touch your face or mouth with unclean hands and you'll be fine.  Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! I heard that too. That is what I did when I had to "send" my fiance back to Australia earlier this month. Got him hand sanitizer and wipes. I will definitely do the same as you. Listen to The Points Guy podcast if you're interested as well. They had an episode on the coronavirus and what they advise people to do. I guess as long as you avoid going through Asia, everything should be fine with some extra measures of precaution. Thank you for putting my mind at ease! ❤️

Estimated approval date was yet again pushed further. Looking at approvals USCIS is getting slower and slower. I was really hoping it was due to the end of the year and the holidays, but it does not appear that way. Hopefull, we will still hear back during the month of April 😕

You can't put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to using the est approval date here on VJ. The official date is what USCIS publishes. And according to your timeline and USCIS you're still within normal processing. Some cases are faster then others. We are seeing some at 3 to 12 months. It depends on a lot different variables within the application for a particular case.

Yep. Just spent two weeks in the Philippines. Stop Over in Taiwan. I wore a mask from LA all the way to my destination in Mindinao.

@Solaris81

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
