This is correct! If  I may  make a suggestion. Without getting to far ahead of yourselves it would be wise to take a peek at the AOS forms to make notes on what you'll need before hand. That's  what I did, I always looked  ahead to avoid the surprises later. Start gathering early even you aren't  married  yet. And this is important.......don't  let your beneficary leave their country without extra birth certificates at least four, you can always copy them. Don't  leave home without extra copies. My wife brought six!

Definitely noted! I looked at that I-944 its pretty extensive. I’m honestly a bit concerned because my wages and net income for last year exceeds the poverty level, but since I started my business and loss profit for last year my AGI is under the limit which is what they reference to. Im sure we will be doing the AOS process later in the year and by then my AGI will exceed the poverty level with my job and new business making profit, so I’ll take my pay stubs and everything to show that this whole year I’ve been exceeding the income level, and I will also have a joint sponsor to be on the safe side. So please just keep me in your prayers. I’m not gonna stress lol

Thank you so much for looking out for us here 🙂 I like to always look ahead as well, I'd like to be prepared and sort of stay one step ahead. Thank you for all of these good reminders!

Thanks Greenbaum. I wonder how many people have received sound advice, had their questions answered, and have successfully navigated the immigration maze, all due to your willingness to help. I don't post much here, but I do read a lot, and I have to say that I am so impressed with you (and other knowledgeable members here). To say "thank you" is an understatement. But thank you. I hope I can lean on you (and probably Hank and Sarge) for other legs of this journey.

Thank you. I will help you to your embassy and Hank will help you to your visa. We look forward to help answer and direct you through this "maze".

I just got back last night from seeing my fiance in Serbia all of last week, so I'm doing pretty well!  I'm going to ride this high as long as I can because we are both very anxious, but seeing one another definitely helped ease some of that for the time being. 😍

I’m also gonna see my fiancé in three weeks, so by the time I’ll be back March will be almost done 😳 And after that I’m sure I’ll be counting days until approval 🤗
