Hi All,

Rang the NVC and got my NVC # today, they also give me an invoice ID..... any idea what this is for? I understand I need email confirmation of my NVC # but they stated they don't do email confirmation... 😫

Join us in the JUNE 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy. There you will see a procedure that works for some to get an email of your case. NVC does not send email notices of case numbers but my mail. Therefore to get an email follow the instructions in the PDF. BTW, most December K1 filers have moved onto either their embassy's subforum here on VJ or onto the NOA2 monthly discussion. I'll post both links below:

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/740044-june-2020-k-1-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy/

PDF with tips, tricks, and hacks. BTW this PDF is updated from time to time so you might check back to ensure you have the latest information.

The invoice number along with the case number is used when you do an inquiry with NVC.

Hey everyone! Congratulations to all the recent approvals! This visa process has been one of the most trying and frustrating journeys of my life. Delays after delays. Trying to get answers on K1 resumption’s but getting no information from embassies. Contacting congressman and representative everyday and still nothing. So much uncertainty!! I mean when will this nightmare end?!?!? I’ve had it with all things visa at this point, and I’m praying to see the light at the end of the tunnel shining through very soon. I needed to vent, sorry about that. I pray everyone is well and sane😊

I feel your pain as this visa process is definitely no walk in the park. I agree the delays and now no specific dates for resuming visa process is annoying. Thank goodness for my fiance because he's been amazing. All we can do is wait for the Embassy to resume K1 Visa processing as that state it's a phased approach. Best Wishes and praying we all get good news very soon. 🙏
