Noble and absolutely beautiful.

My wife is a saint. She went back once and here mother took her with her as she was taking some food and clothes she had collected and my wife was struck hard by it. She came back and collected a couple thousand and I had made a site for them. Now it seems to have gotten larger due to her but higher forces have taken over and the Catholics have stepped in now and assure it is helped out.

How true.

Might as well throw this in:

For having transferred a prescription earlier, our nearby supermarket gave us a 25%-off coupon.

I used it today (Thanksgiving morn) to buy our pre-cooked turkey/fixin's and a full grocery cart of stuff.

The coupon alone was worth $60, precisely the cost of the turkey dinner.

Store loyalty discounts yielded another $48 in savings.

Paper coupons yielded another $5.

Net total spent = $188 after total savings of $113, or 39%.

The $188 is a record non-Costco grocery total for me, but I'm highly satisfied with the rest of it.

Probably won't go ape with further BF/CM shopping unless another such opportunity avails itself.

Canadians just want to feel good for paying that good ol' Canuck surplus.

What routines, and how?

Work, unfortunately. But I don't *do* Black Friday. I generally have enough stuff, and I'm focused on having experiences rather than more things. I do have a new apartment to furnish though so I'll probably have a look to see if there's any discounts on Chairish at the moment. I'm going for a mid century modern aesthetic. I've had my eye on a Milo Baughman coffee table on there for some time.

Please tell Alex Dickies have 25% off on their web site today. May need more T Shirts.

Oh no, he's not the one with the t-shirts problem. That's my sister's boyfriend. But I will give him the heads up! Al is very particular about his tees, and prefers James Perse (for nice ones) and Gustin (for everyday). Less of an issue for him of course as I'm sure you know because he doesn't wear them as undershirts. I learned years ago from Voldemort that the "tshirt as undershirt" thing is hopelessly American.

Tomorrow has a high of 20F, so what under layer would be recommended?

Oooh, there is a Black Friday sale at Gustin now that I'm looking at their website. Think I might get him some of the Cone Mills Selvedge Jeans. Slim fit, skinny just looks silly these days.

Well, I'm American so I endorse tshirts! But at 20F, that sounds like long underwear time. We don't have much need for it here unless we go to Tahoe. Today is going to be low 50s here, so I'm going for a sweater and jeans. Al has announced he is not getting out of pajamas unless forced. Also I have been ordered to make meatball sandwiches for dinner.

I did not usually wear T Shirts as a first layer in the UK, but I never saw 20F as a low never mind a high.

Ended up going out today because my sister needs ''business attire'' for an interview and I thought it would be perfect way to get deep discounts. Though the line reached deep into the store it was moving quickly, and ended up buying ten items for under $100 with all the discounts I had. A quick stop to the Wally World and I saw it no more busy than it is any other day.. she ended up finding a new vacuum on a whim for under $60. I went out doing some early shopping at Pennys earlier during the week and took advantage of good sales already, and the rest of my shopping I'll finish up this weekend online. Now it's on to putting up the tree and then my husband says he's not going anywhere else for the rest of the weekend.

btw for people who are really into the InstaPot craze those things are *everywhere* on sale.
