Trump often boasts of donating his White House pay, but taxpayers are shelling out much larger sums for his hobby.

The president’s motorcade arrives at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Nov. 27, 2019. Trump is spending Thanksgiving week at his nearby Mar-a-Lago estate.  (Susan Walsh/ASSOCIATED PRESS)

With his Thanksgiving vacation, President Donald Trump’s golf hobby has now cost Americans an estimated $115 million in travel and security expenses ― the equivalent of 287 years of the presidential salary he frequently boasts about not taking.

Of that amount, many hundreds of thousands ― perhaps millions ― of dollars have gone into his own cash registers, as Secret Service agents, White House staff and other administration officials stay and eat at his hotels and golf courses.

I thought you did not have the Camera's on?

I don't, but I do read the news. It's been reported over and over that he flew to Palm Beach on Wednesday, went to Mar-a-Lago, left there in the evening, flew back to Andrews and then on to Afghanistan. That meme doesn't reflect reality.

How do you know he did golf?

I'm talking about the part of the meme about the fake motorcade. I literally said this:

Where did I mention golf in that question?

He flew to PBI.  Motorcade was to Sunrise for the rally.  Then back to PBI and flew to Amdrews.

The point you seem to be missing is that the OP had him in FL playing golf, which was #fakenews.

I am not missing the point about the golf. I am not talking about the golf. I am not talking about the OP.  I am talking  only about the motorcade referenced in that meme. To be clear, I said:

The motorcade happened. You even said it yourself. How was the motorcade fake? I will keep asking this question. :)

He never went to mar a lago.  Didn't have time.

The Meme said the MSM went overboard (ToS) assuming he was playing golf, which they did.

I do understand that, I'm not an idiot, but my question is, how was the motorcade fake? I am literally looking at pictures of it going from Mar-a-Lago, to the golf club, and back to Mar-a-Lago on WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON when he was still very much in Florida. https://www.palmbeachpost.com/photogallery/LK/20191127/PHOTOGALLERY/112709993/PH/1

To be clear, he left Mar-a-Lago to go back to Andrews without a motorcade. But there was a motorcade on Wednesday. And it went from Mar-a-Lago and to Mar-a-Lago. I am not saying he played golf at the club. I do not know that.

Why is it so hard to say, that part of the meme is wrong?

I am focused on one part of the meme, but your assistance is always welcomed, Boiler. 😘

The report by CBS of another motorcade back to the golf club was actually just a security detail That is where that came from.

Serious question, Nature Boy: I cannot find that report about the motorcade being a security detail. If I am wrong I will own up to it but I am looking for it and can only find that it happened.
