I look forward to celebrating approvals and announcements of progress along with you here in Part 2.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🙏Thank you for making my life so much easier!

I have my I-751 pending in VSC and I'm now preparing myself for N400 I'll be eligible in 10 days. I have the following questions:

1- Are the few pages Tax transcripts enough , would I need W2 or 1040(I have them anyway)

2- Regarding evidence to I need to include the evidence again since we got married? the same stuff that I included in my I-751 again?

3- Can I start my application online now and only submit it after I enter the 90 days period?

1- yes transcripts are enough

2- yes, if you are applying on the basis of marriage you will need to submit evidence of a bonafide marriage this includes evidence you might have already submitted (marriage certificate, mortgage/ lease, bank accounts, etc) and new evidence proving you share a life together. Subías much as you can or have as this will avoid any RFE issues.

3 - you can start the application and keep it for 30 days. After 30 days you will need to restart.

Hope le this helps!

I did apply my N400 while my I 751 is pending.

After 5 months I got to interview in Chicago on Nov 19th.

I went alone, without my wife and the interviewer had one file for me.

Passed my civic exam and my English one, but she said she can't make a decision as my I 751 is not approved yet even though she did go through my marriage information and I did submit wedding pictures, 3 years of tax return, and baby birth cert. and my wife's papers like BC and passport.

Not sure how long it will take them to approve my N400 but according to some reading in this forum I think it is a very long process and I may hit 120 without any answer.

Any similar cases and how long did it take to end up?

I had my interview on 26 November. Everything went well, interview officer was a pretty nice guy. I mentioned the misdemeanor which i didn't mention in the original online application of N-400. Officer said don't worry about it since it has on the system already. I mentioned it( misdemeanor) in my i-751 which got approved in last July and got 10 yeaes GC. Interview officer give me the letter stating that i have passed in the exam but don't approve my application since its require more review. So my question is anyone had same experience? Since my interview status hasn't changed in online. I am bit nervous about that.

I definitely recommend that your spouse goes with you because I read many reviews where the IO asked if spouse is there with you especially that I-751 is still pending so it could be a combo interview
