I am trying to call the national visa centre as we haven't heard from them since the 21st Oct, I know it can take time but I've recently moved and am worrying. Anyway, I FINALLY got through after days of trying, just to be cut off by my netwrok provider for reaching my spend limit. Really irritating. I obviously don't want to wrack up big costs. Does anyway know how I can call this very cheaply from the UK/ for free?  I have tried the obvious apps etc for online calling and none of these work. I really need a solution, thanks!

My fiance tried calling too, but obviously I just got through so frustrating to be cut off and had to pay a lot for it! Any help would be much appreciated!

I will stand corrected if i am wrong but i believe at this point NVC will only talk to the USC

If this is for k1: I'm the beneficiary and we recently passed the NVC stage. I had no problem getting information when I got through to the operator, they didn't care wether I was beneficiary or petitioner, only that I knew the necessary information (NOA2 number, names of both of us and dates of birth)

Yes you can write to them also, but they seem very backlogged with their emails so the response might take several weeks. Speaking from recent experience here too.

I'm a beneficiary from Germany and I called the NVC from Germany through the app talkatone.. I've researched and tried for hours to actually find an app for that. But this one is definitely free and works, because I used it with a phone without sim-card and I had no issues. I also told the NVC I'm the beneficiary and it was no problem.
