Hello all! I hope this has gone to the Canada Specific forum, if it hasn’t I apologize.

My fiancé and I have just sent in our application and are currently waiting for our NOA1. I have had read a few things regarding getting licenses (driving, marriage ) amongst other things but it all is very confusing in regards to what I was reading. I just thought I would come on here and ask if there is any Canadian that has moved to Texas on a K1 visa and what their experience was like? Things that you didn’t expect that you ran into, things that were not as complicated as it was lead to be. Just anything regarding the move and getting things all started in Texas. just trying to prepare as much as I can long list of things I will have to sort out here (self employed, governing health practitioner college etc) and just trying to compile a list and be as prepared as possible.

thanks in advance!
