You can apply for AOS if you choose to marry now. However you have to realize it will be a LONG time before you can work and travel. Do you not need any of your belongings in Germany? No car, apartment, bills, responsibilities etc? Also think long and hard about having a baby right now. Do you really want to make so many life changes all at once? (Immigrating, child, finding work etc) make sure you know this guy well - many people change right after their spouse stays here. Many horror stories on here of people that did not know their partner well/for awhile.

Thank you to all of you guys, thank you for your concern, I honestly understand. It is a bit different then you think it is. So about the home, car, job, ect.... I lived with my parents, and I worked with family because we have a familiy company, and no pets, so I understand what you saying, but its nothing that I need to be there personally and can manage from here, otherwise you are absolutely right. I just want to be sure when we do the AOS its everything correct.

AOS is a totally valid option at this time, and likely makes to most sense.

Although it is always confusing how one has strong ties to return home to get the visa, then again at POE to use the visa, but then no strong ties when it comes time to AOS. 🤷‍♂️

It is crazy how so many people do not seem to have such responsibilities or ties to home when they go on vacation to the US.

As someone who did marry on VWP and has just been approved for my conditional GC after AOS - I can 100% say these things are not impediments, just depends on how good your friends are and how much $$ you're willing to spend.

I think maybe it is an age thing.....   or stage of life.

It depends.   I was in an established career in my mid-30s.

However having said that, as an adult whose parents were both dead (my mother when I was young and father a few years ago) when I was visiting and we were told my MIL had stage 2 cancer, I can 100% guarentee that being with husband during that time - for treatment and after (in the case that it didn't work) was worth so much more than a job and an apartment and materialistic "stuff" that was in it.  (It was all fine, for the record - surgery + chemo & radiation therapy over the last 12 months & she's cancer free and finally starting to get her feet back under her again

Hello again, I just have another question to the people who are experienced or did that Adjustment of status,,,,

do you think we should hire a lawyer for doing that process to fasten it, or does it have no effect without lawyer

Most people do the process themselves

Up to you.
