After reading your post, I checked our account and the estimated time is back.  Estimated time is the same as before it was removed (7 months) November 2020.

Well, i hope its a positive sign and hopefully they are opening up their offices on 3rd May.

Our says January 2021 or 9 months. At least I know that's not true since we were supposed to have my husband's citizenship/ROC interview today. :( Hopefully when the offices reopen, his case will be among the first to be scheduled.

Well, Trump just temporarily banned immigration into USA. Thoughts?

I called USCIS this morning and they were still processing N-400 cases. No one really knows what the impact will be for us, if any, because the EO has not been signed yet. I could see it impact new green cards and new work visas, but not the naturalisation process.

It is for the new immigrants who want to come to USA, not the people who already filed any kind of process:, K1, turist visa, GC holder, asylium seekers, N400,....etc.

Unfortunately we just don’t know what it means! I’m hopeful that with a pause the USCIS now have a chance to process existing cases and try to shorten the backlog. I’m nervous as my GC extension expires in June.

Here

Trump said that the move would not impact those in the country on a temporary basis and would apply only to those looking for green cards in hopes of staying.

An administration official familiar with the plans had said earlier the order would be focused on preventing people from winning permission to live and work in the U.S. That would include those seeking employment-based green cards and relatives of green card holders who are not citizens. Americans who wish to bring immediate family to the country would still be able to do so, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity before the plan was announced.

I don't know if its a good news or not because it might extend further depending on the circumstances. They might have came up with something to accommodate applicants with some social distancing rules. They might wear PPE to interview lol.
