I passed!!
Even the most nerve wracking part was driving to Nashville. They had two tornadoes hitting last night and interstates where closed. Took me two hours longer to get here, but I still made it on time.
after checking in, I had to wait about 30 minutes.
at the interview he first asked me to take the oath. Then I had to read a sentence (something along the lines of: the people where first) and write: Presidents’ Day is in February (On a Tablet with a pen). He then asked 6 questions (senator terms, federalist paper authors, second in command after president, and the rest I already forgot). Lastly we went thru the application. Checking the name, time outside of the us (made a correction) all the Y/N questions and a few more in depth questions about my military service and the weapons training.
i signed of on all the changes (tablet) signed the application (paper) and that I am willing to take the oath (tablet).
While he was scanning the one paper I signed and added it to the file, we talked about Switzerland and that I was his first Swiss applicant ever. And then I was already out the door. Next ceremony in town is April 15. So I expect to be there.

The documents he wanted to see: GC Drivers license and passport. All my other documents were not needed

Mine too! As if the wait is not hard enough, now they have these technical issues as well.

I think the "estimated times" have disappeared because of the exposé that was done on the H1B visa issue where USCIS made over 2.39 billion dollars for premium processing that takes 15 business days as opposed to 9-15 months for normal processing. Scrutiny arose on the other visa categories and the fact that people file applications and pay their fees, but are forced to wait around while others who file afterwards get scheduled for interviews before others.

So, not a system glitch.

Interesting observation!  Do you have a link to the story?  I would very much like to read about it.  Thanks...

Thanks for the link...I read it and it makes me wonder if USCIS would take down the entire "time estimation system" because of the HB1 scandal.  If true, then each applicant will receive the equivalent of an indeterminate date.  It's like sentencing a prisoner to death but not given an execution date, except to be told that one day very early in the morning he will be awakened and  executed. Up until 40 years ago France guillotined people without the prisoner ever knowing when he would be executed.  If true, this is absolutely insane and cruel that they would eliminate the posting of estimating the time one can expect to be interviewed and receive his or her citizenship.
