No Im in Syracuse. My coworkers told me it was very fast here. However, I didn't find it listed on the website.

I also don't see it on the list.  However, USCIS Syracuse has a field office and a website.  Could it be that there s a field office that's not listed and yet processes

N-400 applications for upstate New York independent of Buffalo and Albany?   Please keep us posted because if true,  this is really fast,

The first one is their estimated time for complete processing of your N-400.
The lower one is for next action on your case. So about 20 days til they schedule your interview.

Do mind that those dates can go both ways. Processing can be way faster or delayed.

Example some people have completed estimated time late 2020 but have already had their interview and some go over that time.

They same with the lower one. They can schedule it faster then the time it says or over. Example I’m 2 weeks past my time so it just says we are taking longer to process your case then expected bla bla.

I am starting to believe they messed something up with my case lol. Both mine say 4 months. That dosent really make any sense. My friend had Interview scheduled 30 days after fingerprints, I am on day 40 now

LOL 😂😂😂 Miami is 2,5 years that is ridiculous!

Miami has improved for 52% of the cases which are completed in the first 8 months but brutal for those remaining applicants that might take as long as 31 months.  However, I believe that at least 80% are completed within 12 months.   I can't imagine waiting 31 months...

I personally don't give much to those estimates because they jump around in all the cases!

Hopefully you will hear something very soon!

FYI

A friend of mine applied on June 2019 and she received her appointment letter for February 20.

Office: Newark NJ

That's not bad considering Newark, NJ, is slow in processing N-400 applications.  Currently Newark has a processing time range of 10 - 15.5 months.

That's the same timeframe for Dallas office. ☹️ Can't get into the job industry I want until I'm an USC.
