Biometrics letter finally imaged in and my husband's appointment is scheduled in the LIC office in NY for January 13, 2020.

 

Now all we have to do is wait....waiting is boring hah

Highly doubt it’s related given your n400 submission date - the n400 would only be assigned to an office after biometrics - so likely just a coincidence. You should be fine.

Congratulations!  Which city and state did you submit your application from?  Six months with the possibility of going down a bit is excellent.

Decided to file my wife's N-400 today as the Charleston office has a wait time of 5-9.5 months with our pending ROC for her is taking awhile from Texas.

I think you have chosen well!  Charleston is one of the more efficient local USCIS offices in the country.  :-)

My Biometrics appointment has been scheduled for 01/17/2020. Estimated processing time for my application is May 2020.

 

Still awaiting NOA1 in the mail. This is all information from USCIS account :)

08/03/2016 - Became a Conditional Permanent Resident
05/07/2018 - ROC packet sent off

I think that’s the time they would take to do the background check.
