You can't file N400 online if you are outside the US.

I thought the same thing too but it is a wrong assumption.  You can file from abroad but not if you are living abroad.  We are abroad on vacation.

Incorrect.

You CAN file online as long as you do not reside abroad or are serving in the military overseas.....they are on vacation.

thats actually correct! My existing attorney told me they will charge me $2000 for n400 and additional $1000 just because I have pending i751. I fired her on the spot.  I filled it on my own on 12/29/2019. its a straight forward process.

Wow that's ridiculous!!! They definitely are trying to take advantage of you. I would have fired them too! I only recommend an attorney if you have a complicated case. N-400 is pretty easy to fill out.

Just completed my biometrics today! Case already updated to "Actively reviewing your case" and estimated completion time on my account went down from Oct 2020 to May 2020!

Despite re-scheduling my biometrics appointment from 12/24/19 to 1/7/2020 my expected done date has gone down from August 2020 to July 2020.

Any one used cover letter..I don't see any reason for it? Also 90 dyas before green card reach 3 years.. right March 2020.. so I'm good ?
