I do not think it is appropriate to judge as to why someone might use an attorney to file his or her application.  Although I have found the process time consuming and at times frustrating I have filed every step of the way on my own.  Some filers do have, maybe legal difficulties or legal questions, an uneasiness about doing it on their own.  Some filers feel secure having an third party assist in filing.  We should just try to help each other and not judge too much. :-)

I wasn't trying to be harsh, but my choice of words, judge, etc., should have been more diplomatic.  My apologies for not having chosen better way of just saying that some people feel more secure having aa third party assist them in filing their applications.  I have actually volunteered to file for some people but for lack of language skills or feeling that if an attorney files for them they will not be rejected they end up hiring an attorney.  I guess to each his own.   Again, truly, no offense what so ever, just a callous choice of words on my part.  Best...

Filers,

I have updated the sheet. I wish to reiterate in using the most recently amended sheet so that no filers' information is left out and cannot be tracked properly. I keep a spare copy of all updates on my laptop so that we can all be on the same page with this :)

Our application right now is estimated at 10 months.

The NOA came the same day with the biometrics letter the second day.  After that it’ll be a while before you get an interview scheduled from what I’m seeing.

I know my biometrics appointment will probably be in West Virginia, and all the applications I have summited before have been processed in Vermont

When you have a moment, would you please create/update your VJ Timeline? It helps a great deal to track similar timelines for others to reference :)

NB - This is not mandatory....it just helps a bit ;)

They don’t have to be certified.  We used ours directly from turbo tax and uploaded as a pdf.

Good morning Everyone,

Update: my attorney did sent it via USPS it supposed to be delivered today, she advise that they will return it right away which can delay my filing for couple of weeks.

So i Suggest you remove me from time sheet as I will not be filing this month.

I will be joining I guess January Filers 😟

Also they are sending it to Chicago, IL I assume that will be my Filing office I guess. :(
